Re: Lineup 7/29
I guess the FO has given up on controlling Baker's man love and let him do it just in hopes maybe someone will want Patterson.

Re: Lineup 7/29
Even a lineup that poor should be able to handle Brian Moehler.

Hopefully he'll be on a plane to Tampa Bay or back to Seattle.

Re: Lineup 7/29
Considering Griffey's legs are sponsored by Home Depot, a day off would be good for him. However, putting Patterson leadoff is just dumb. However, I like Dunn at 3 and Bruce at 5, as dumb as patterson leading off is, this almost makes up for it.

That was the year that the Reds tried to acquire Kenny Rogers, but he vetoed the trade, and then tried to acquire Chuck Finley, but Linder turned down the deal because it added $100,000 to the payroll for the rest of the year. Moehler was the Reds third choice. Say all you want about Cast, but at least this front office right now, wants to win. |

"There is a report on a Philadelphia website saying that the Reds have traded for Scott Rolen." What a disappointment!
