Where's TBRB?
I know where TVIW is, he's evaluating.
![]() (This would be a crony fired from his last job, hired in February 2008 to advise TBRB. So, after 3 months, waiting, after 22 games into the 2008 season, after assuring Redsland, the losing must stop, then, after firing WK for having allowed it, The Big Red Buffoon heralds The Vulture in Waiting as the franchise savior from whose genius winning blessings would flow.) Let's get this straight. The accepted practice to effect an immediate reversal of fortune, is to... evaluate??? First, what was he doing from Feb thru April, if not evaluating? Secondly, if a substantial period of evaluation is required after being given a job to reverse, immediately, a 9-12 start to the season, isn't that a long term approach to a short term promise? Finally, does anyone seriously believe the Reds are in good hands with the Vulture? I don't. The sooner he he is reintroduced to the pleasure of spending full time evaluating his back-yard at home, the better, imo. So, hey, BRB, what's your next plan to stop the losing?

Re: Where's TBRB?
Substitute the letters with Wayne Krivsky, Walt Jocketty, and Bob Castellini, and then it all makes sense.

Re: Where's TBRB?
I know it's early and I've only had 3 1/2 hours of sleep (my mom was rushed to the hospital last night - prayers, please), but no, can't get it to make any sense. Would someone care to walk me through the acronyms.

Re: Where's TBRB?
TBRB (or BRB) = The Big Red Buffoon = Bob Castellini
TVIW=The Vulture In Waiting= Walt Jocketty WK is Wayne Krivsky of course. I don't know if I'm worse off for reading it or following it. Whatever anyone thinks up to now, its pretty quick to make a judgement on Walt IMO.

Re: Where's TBRB?
Gentlemen, thank you - I've slapped my forehead in understanding now. I agree that it seems to be jumping the gun, although I understand the frustration. The club seems very moribund right now. For years, there was something about recent Reds teams, even as bad as they've been, that you knew from time to time that if they got behind, you knew they might come back. That feeling is no where to be found and I'm hard pressed to think of any instance this season where we got down and came back. I'm sure there have been some game or another, but it's not coming to mind.

Re: Where's TBRB?
I think we will see some changes this winter. At least I hope so.
Walt did not have much to trade at the deadline. Personally, I'm glad he didn't just give Affedlt and Weathers away for nothing.

Re: Where's TBRB?
I always did have trouble with acronyms this gave new meaning to my difficulties in interpreting the buzz symbols, though I could gather that GA was not pleased and if it had anything to do with Bob the Chief Executive Officer, I knew I had to agree.
Though the characterization is just a bit difficult for me to buy into, especially on Redszone. "TBRB (or BRB) = The Big Red Buffoon = Bob Castellini TVIW=The Vulture In Waiting= Walt Jocketty" |

Re: Where's TBRB?
It's important to use code so that the Reds honchos don't know we're talking about them.
