As an admitted MonsterQuest fan, I have always been a bit of a believer, but I want to see the proof. This should be fun.

If they've recently discovered 125,000 gorillas, then anything is possible right?

Do you realize how many man hours have been wasted on this stuff (and Adam Dunn threads...)? Think about all of the dumb History Channel Specials hosted by Leonard Nimoy or their shows about giant floods overwhelming Paris. What a waste.

Is it any more of a waste then watching the same Seinfeld you've seen eight times?

Dude -- "In Search Of..." was usually the only thing standing between me and total boredom when I was in college and stopped scheduling classes on Mondays and Fridays.

I learned all sorts of interesting crackpot theories from Mr. Spock on everything from Atlantis to UFOs.

It would be fine if there were some kind of channel for it. Like maybe the Crackpot Channel, or Mythological Channel, or even better the Stoner Channel. But as a teacher I'm always looking for good stuff to use in the classroom and half of History Channel's programming is Pseudo-History or Pseudo-Archaeology. It is really frustrating.

That has to look good on the resume.
