Thomas Braden, too. Just imagine how much more exciting the show "Eight is Enough" would have been if Dick Van Patten had been a spy. Talk about missed opportunities!

I always thought there was something fishy about Abbie. Maybe she's a spy as well, but for the other side. Could she have offed Tom's first wife and used her charms to woo Tom in order to provide her with a cover and allow her to infiltrate his personal life? Could Nicolas be a sleeper agent trained through hypnotic suggestion to ask Tom seemingly innocent but oddly probing questions in order to gain access to sensitive materials?
