Re: Rookie Keepers (Baseball)
with 12 keepers out of 16 players it's easier to just name the 4 that i wouldn't keep and that would be: burrell, harden, and broxton for sure. imo it's a tossup between lidge and oswalt for the last spot. i don't like to keep many closers since that position is so volatile but you aleady have 3 sp's so it's up to you.

Re: Rookie Keepers (Baseball)
Oswalt for sure... only other option would be Lidge, but there's no reason to think he won't have 45 saves next season and have sick whip, Ks, etc ...

Re: Rookie Keepers (Baseball)
could you package a couple together for a better (and safer) player? like burnett and oswalt for someone like johan santana or lincecum. or burnett, oswalt, and kinsler for a relatively safe top 10 starting pitcher and utley.

Re: Rookie Keepers (Baseball)
I ended up with my team going like this going into the draft:
1 Hanley Ramirez 2 Brad Lidge 3 Francisco Rodriquez 4 Mark Teixera 5 Ian Kinsler 6 Russell Martin 7 Evan Longoria 8 Nick Markakis 9 Brandon Webb 10 AJ Burnett 11 Jacoby Ellsbury 12 Curtis Granderson 13 Clay Bucholz I traded Carlos Zambrano for Granderson and Bucholz. Thanks for the input.
