Keeping it real

Marvin Lewis will not be fired, Mike Brown will not give control to a GM, he has made his mind up. He's behind Marvin 100%. Marvin may quit, he wont be fired. If we get the no.1 pick he will draft Wells from OSU. You can expect opening kickoff TDs for the next 8 weeks, sorry.

I have agreed up to this point with that outcome, SoP just hates to fire people. However it's now clear that Marvin is losing this team, they went out there vs. the Texans and their effort was terrible. SoP should just see it for what it is and move on, afterall he did initially want Coughlin himself. It's time he go and get a guy who has a track record as a head coach/gm for getting the best out of whatever it is he's got. I don't think Marvin gets one important facet of selecting players to win, talent ain't everything. Intelligence, desire and hard work there is no substitution for.

Carson Palmer is 28 soon to be 29 and now has a very serious injury, once he is gone so is our window for the foreseeable future. So a decision must be made about a lot of things and soon so we have a legit shot at winning something with Palmer in stripes. I couldn't have imagined that we'd actually be sitting here at some point thinking that we may never even win a measley playoff game in Carson Palmers entire career but it's actually looking that way. Brown really needs to address this and fast.
