Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
You're telling me Empire Magazine has Donnie Darko over Alex DeLarge? Preposterous!

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
That thing needs a single listing more than any other list I have ever seen.
Bernie Lomax better be in there somewhere!

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
Keyzer Soze is way too low...I have a feeling he's going to kill the editors, their families, their neighbors and anyone else that they know...
and Ron Burgandy needs to be higher as well...after all, he's a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn, that oughta count for something

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
No Wes Anderson characters to be seen? Hmmmmmmmm
Still a pretty diverse list besides the five Star Wars characters. |

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
Vito Corleone is too high(sorry but Michael Corleone was the compelling character even in the first movie). Inspector Callahan is way too low.

Durden is great and all but definitely not #1 Sparrow shouldn't even be in the top 100, let alone top 10. |

Where is Batman at?! How can you not have Batman on there but you have Blade? Martin Riggs should've been in the top 50 at least.

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
I think his top 10 spot is well deserved. One of my all-time favorite characters.
A few off the top of my head that I think should be on the list: Clark Griswold Danny Ocean Bill Lumbergh Rain Man Mick Dundee Austin Powers Col. Nathan R. Jessep All the characters on Monty Python and the Holy Grail I'm sure I'll think of more. Glad to see Mal Reynolds get some recognition. Serenity is a great movie. |

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
^^ I agree with Austin Powers and Jessup, but overall that list was pretty good. I was just happy that my two favorite characters (Ron Burgundy and Forrest Gump) made the list.
I also felt that DeNiro's character when he played a mental hospital patient when they hospital found a miracle drug that brought him along with many other patients out of their catatonic states deserved tp be on the list, but I can't remember the movie or the character name.

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
played perfectly by De Niro ... the only award Brando should have gotten was for overacting(espcially when informed of the demise of Sonny).

Re: 100 Greatest Movie Characters
When I saw who was listed at #1 I decided not to read any further.
