Leatherpants is building his perfect ex-Red team by selecting right-hander Terrell Young with the first pick in the Rule 5 draft. Young was 1-2 with a 2.41 ERA for Class A Sarasota last season, where he pitched out of the bullpen. He certainly has a big arm and has done well since moving to the pen.
Also, the Reds selected RHP Dave Patton of the Rockies, but he will be traded to the Cubs. http://www.thelotd.com/ctrent/blog

It will be interesting to see if we do anything in the minor league phases of the draft. I can't remember what we've done there the last few years.
