computer virus-poachpeddle.com????
About a week ago I was asked to look up something called poachpeddle.com(still dont know if the person who suggested knew it was a bad site yet or not)..anyway as soon as I got on the site I immediately starting having pop ups and all sorts of issues--finally had to do a system restore this afternoon and hopefully that will take care of it.
My brother was the computer brain in our family and he passed away this past September. I think about him a lot and this would have been one of those things I would've called him about.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. If you continue to have computer problems, let us know. Some people here helped me out a great deal not too long ago.

Butler, what kind of anti-spyware/anti-virus o you run? do you use a firewall?

I use Trend-Micro...I have ran 3-4 virus scans this week but was still having issues today....I did a system restore around 3 pm today and so far(knock on wood) it seems to have taken care of it.
