Nice. According to the schedule on the Reds website, the final weekend against the Pirates will also be broadcast.. I thought it would be odd if they left those out

I had accidentally cut those off without realizing it. I just added them to the list.

How many games were in HD last year (approx)? I didn't have HD last year, but do now. I'm hoping for a bunch.

Last year it was about half the TV schedule. I think it was about 71 games.

Re: 2009 Reds regular season TV schedule

Can someone help me out? I'm not in the Fox Sports Ohio Area for the first time in my life.... and I'm freaking out about getting my Reds games.

I have comcast, if I order the MLB package, can I DVR the games? I work sorta late and with Pacific time I will end up missing most the game otherwise.... anyone have any ideas?

I would think you could. I don't have Comcast but I don't know any reason you could not record the games if you subscribed to Extra Innings.

w/ Comcast before I couldn't DVR a pay-per-view game... and so, I'm not sure if the MLB package is different.

The first week of the season is always a free preview week of Extra Innings so you should probably try recording a game then and see if it works. If you are ordering Extra Innings make sure you order before the end of the free preview week because after that the price goes up.

Re: 2009 Reds regular season TV schedule

I have DTV and record every Reds and Yankees game. I watch them after I get home without issue.

Just a thought, but wouldn't it be simpler if they just listed the few games that won't be on TV?
