Re: 3/4/09 Reds vs The Netherlands
Reds 0, The Netherlands 0 after 3
Posted by JohnFay at 3/4/2009 5:54 PM EST on Cincinnati.com It looks like a Florida State League game broke out -- maybe 200, 300 here. But it's a lovely night for baseball. Alex Gonzalez flied out to left in his first at-bat. Looked fine running to first. Jay Bruce singled with two outs. By the way, the stats from games against the WBC teams don't count. Gonzalez singled in the tihrd and advanced to second when Adam Rosales reached on an error. http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs...cincinnati.com |

Re: 3/4/09 Reds vs The Netherlands
Wow, how did the Netherlands make four errors in only four innings?!

BTW, stats from this game don't count, according to Fay.

Re: 3/4/09 Reds vs The Netherlands
I agree. I wasn't trying to take anything away from our players, I was just pointing out that these stats don't count toward regular ST stats or records.
