1990 wire to wire cassette

I was 7 years old when the Reds won in 1990. I had this cassette memorized from beginning to end, and now I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anybody still have a copy of this?

I used to have one too. When I moved out of my parent's house, it didn't go with me. I'll bet it's still somewhere there.

Re: 1990 wire to wire cassette

"Say no to drugs, no to crack, just hit the books and the ball with the bat..." I recall some of those lyrics. "I'm B. Lark, here with the rest of my crew, Boogie E (I think this is right?) Spuds McKenzie, the Nasty Boys too. Comin' to ya live with some busta move with some help from my homeboys to make ya move. This is the time of year to take the pennant, ain't no half steppin', the Reds win it. Listen up, listen to the story, this is the year, the moment of GLORY!" I have the tape somewhere...I listened to it all the time back in 1990.

Re: 1990 wire to wire cassette

wow....uhhh....I think I may be mixing up different things from 1990. First, I dont remember a rap from the Reds. And, DTCromer is referencing a video tape. The tape I have is a highlight audio tape of radio calls from the 1990 season that WLW put out. A cassette tape that lasted about an hour....

Once upon a time someone posted a link with lots of Reds audio things on it.
I have the tape somewhere but if my memory serves me correctly you can download it. If only I could remember where!

Re: 1990 wire to wire cassette

If somebody has it and would make me a copy, I'd be willing to send a blank tape and some $.

The Reds did a rap called "Reds Hot" back in 1990. Davis, Larkin, and Sabo were in it, as well as the Nasty Boys. WLW also put out a audio highlight of the season as well.
