Great, now the Pirates are moving Maholm up in the rotation. We don't get to face their No. 5 starter scrub.

They should be playing a doubleheader today to make up for it. Makes absolutely no sense to wait until later in the season when they just could have played 2 today. Very strange.

Reasoning is, teams don't want to wear out their pitchers arms this early in the year. A second reasoning is that if the Reds contend, the make-up game gate will be much larger.

Just reporting the facts, sir.
