Big RH bat avalible soon?

I know that we're not supposed to talk about a certain ex-red that as recently as last season maned left field for the team. But if I don't bring up the possibility then someone else sure will.If the Reds get in the market for a big bat at some point this season I just wonder what the chances are that they look to Washington for......well I'll just say it Adam Dunn.

The Wash. Nationals are now 0-7 and while it is very early, seem to be going nowhere very fast. They have a ton of outfielders that are young and make much less $$$$$ then Dunn. They at some point this season will imo and probably everyone else's,be sellers and in desperate need of some young pitching.

The Reds offense has looked ok so far.Nobody can tell me though that we couldn't use a guy that other pitchers fear a little to put right in the middle of our lineup.

I'm not trying to get into an endless debate about Dunn here.I just think this is a worthy topic. If this team is over .500 come July and in contention I could see this as a possibility.

I really just wanted to talk about how terrible the Nats are but somehow came up with this.

It won't happen. I don't think either the Reds or Dunn are going to dip back in that well.

The offense has not looked OK so far. We have had some very timely hits to get us to .500. We desperately need a SS that can hit, a LF that can hit cleanup and at least one more bench player with a stick. Also, if Hernandez keeps scuffling, might need to look there (or give Hanigan a shot).

Magglio is my guess if the Reds are in contention and Detroit falters.

Dunn and Kearns.

It's like Peaches and Herb "reunited" all over again.

I'd prefer Milledge or Dukes. But I agree that Magglio would be great to have as well- I've always liked Magglio and think he is underappreciated.

I vote for Magglio, too. He is EXACTLY what the Reds need in the middle of the order. Put him in left field and platoon Dickerson and Taveras in center.

More like the Bo and Luke Duke comeback - but a little more hillbilly.

Magglio is the perfect Veteran Righ Handed bat we need, him in the middle of Votto and Bruce could do some dammage
