Drop and Add
After Chien-Ming Wang wretched performance this evening, I'm thinking about dropping him and picking up Kyle Lohse. Now I'm not a fan of Lohse but based on their first two starts it appears to be a no brainer.
Any thoughts? |

Re: Drop and Add
I may give it another start or two. Any other pitchers of note available on the waiver wire?

Re: Drop and Add
I would either hang with Wang (poetry!) or pitch and ditch with your last spot.

Re: Drop and Add
Two years ago Wang had a GREAT year then got hurt last year (foot, non pitching related). I have him on my team too, I plan to stick it out awhile and see if he pulls it back together.

Re: Drop and Add
If Lohse is still available, I would go get him now. I'm not a big fan of his but he put up good fantasy numbers last year and is obviously doing the same this year. A couple more good starts and you'd wish you had him and he might draw some trade interest

Re: Drop and Add
well after wang's most recent joke of an outing, I pulled the trigger and cut wang and picked up Lohse.
Hopefully it'll pay off. |

Re: Drop and Add
Same here. I went with Lohse a week ago. I'm hoping to move him for a closer after he continues to put up good numbers.

Re: Drop and Add
The Cardinals won't move Lohse to the bullpen. He is valuable to them as a starter and they have plenty of closer options (Motte, Perez, Franklin, etc.).
