Re: Votto's injury
Fay says he was holding his chest after his last AB. Dehydration? I'm nervous.

Re: Votto's injury
It didn't look like an injury. That doesn't mean he didn't previously pull anything, but it didn't look like in injury.
He just appeared to be weak out of nowhere and needed help getting off the field. |

Re: Votto's injury
Quick guesses from those watching:
1. Dehydration/after-effects from flu over the weekend. 100 degrees in Arizona since they arrived. 2. Muscle pull following his at-bat in the previous half inning. |

Re: Votto's injury
My guess is somehow while off camera he was attacked by an albino tiger like Roy Horn.
Hopefully #1 on membengal's list is accurate.

Re: Votto's injury
Are you implying something about Joey's personal life? Like, that he wears a lot of sequined outfits, and likes show music? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Re: Votto's injury
Looks like he was about to get sick, which is a great thing considering my first reaction (I thought he blew out a hammy or something). My guess is this is something minor and is just the remnants of his bout with the flu.
EDIT: They just said he is dealing with "dizziness" and is day-to-day. Good news. |
