Re: Reds at Padres thread 5/15-5/17
Well it hasn't been a long road trip so the Reds shouldn't be gassed. We SHOULD take at least 2 out of 3.

Re: Reds at Padres thread 5/15-5/17
San diego has really played poorly as of late. The only threat in that line up seems to be Adrian Gonzalez. I think 2 out of 3 is not only possible, but a near certainty. Espcially since we are coming out of an off day and they played somewhere out east last night.

Anything less than 2 out of three and im going to be very dissapointed.
Lets just hope we dont see the reds of old and they play down to there competition. Keep the intensity up boys! |

Astros and Cubs have swept the Padres consecutively, now it's our turn. 9 game NL Central sweep incoming!

Re: Reds at Padres thread 5/15-5/17
Dusty leaves starter in too long...lead gone...shocker. He has a unique skill for turning a 6 innings pitched, 2 earned runs allowed performance into a 6.1 innings pitched, 4 earned runs allowed performance.

Don't blame dusty, blame Harang. He decided to bring his C game tonight, and its likely going to cost us a game against a horrible team.

Re: Reds at Padres thread 5/15-5/17
Too late. Dusty has been blamed. Had a chance to PH for Harang with two men on in the 7th, and he let Harang hit, even though he had thrown 97 pitches and had been hit fairly well tonight.

Chalk this one up to Dusty. When the Reds can win despite Dusty's efforts I will believe.

Re: Reds at Padres thread 5/15-5/17
I agree, but who would he have come out to hit besides Rosales? I think he told Dusty that he had enough in the tank for 1 more inning. Should have taken him out after the first hit he allowed. Not being a very good hitting team against a terrible pitching team. Here's to hoping for a come back and at least 1 win this series.
