Road to Omaha: College Baseball Bracket

link

Wasn't sure where to post this, but since it's not technically "minor league", I thought this would be the best place for it. The above link is to a nice interactive College Baseball bracket.

Regionals start Fri.

edit: fixed the link

I'm hoping Louisville can stay hot and make another run to Omaha. Having the Regional at home should help.

I am hoping to get over to watch the IU/UofL game Friday.

Should be a good series. Both teams are absolutely on fire.

Don't sleep on the other 2 teams in that subregion. I will be there all weekend. Go Dores!

Go ahead and start engraving Xavier on the trophy. We're a baseball powerhouse.

Muskies all the way!

I am thrilled to see X get in; now if my other alma mater (Marshall) could get their act together thinks would be rosy. Problem is, C-USA is a pretty tough league even if it isn't what it once was.

Thom had a great line at the end of that interview. The coach's young daughter was mugging for the camera and playing with her hair, and Thom said "that's all right, Jeff does it all the time."

Looks like X's maiden voyage may be a short one. 8-0 K-State in the third.

Xavier was just a couple of grand slams away from being right in that one. Go get 'em tomorrow (twice)! Louisville looks like they'll get by IU. Western Kentucky with a nice win. Ohio State gets pounded. Kind of a mixed bag for area teams.

Re: Road to Omaha: College Baseball Bracket

ECU has players Ryan Wood and Stephen Batts. They also have Kyle Roller batting clean-up.

Their first round game was postponed, and is being played right now. Streaming video online at cbs college sports all access. ECU leads Binghamton 2-0 with 2 outs bot 1. First run was a first pitch HR. Second run was on a balk, with a runner on third.

So far, all #1 seeds won their first game. The ACC is 7-0. #2 seeds over #3 seeds 9-7.
