regarding Stubbs in right field...
If things continue as they are, I suspect Stubbs may see the Reds after the break. That would open up a slot for Heisey. If Stubbs were brought up, however, he would likely have to get some of his playing time at a corner outfield spot. It's also interesting that he has been hitting in the two spot in the order. That tells me that for the near term, the Reds are set with Taveras leading off and playing center. |

Carolina wins 7-2. I believe that's the second sweep for the Reds' farm system in a week or so, maybe less. And I don't believe there had been a single one previously.
