I don't see a thread yet?

Hairston pops up.
Taveras flies out
BP grounds out.

Weak pop out from JHJ, Line out to LF from Taveras, ground out to 2b from Phillips.

3 up, 3 down.

Quickly.

Masked by the win last night was yet another horrible offensive performance from the team.

Cristian Guzman's ascension to legitmate hitter over the last few years has to be one of the most baffling things in baseball I've seen.

Re: 6/10/09 - Reds vs. Nationals

From the stat FSN ran in the top of the first, Sharon Martis is a good pitcher at home, horrible on the road so far in 2009. Overall ERA is at 5.21, but he is 3.77 at home, ERA over 7 on the road.

The last time I paid attention to him he was dwelling below the Mendoza Line and embarrassing Jim Bowden.

Harang finally wins the battle of the outside corner, and gets Zimmerman to fly to RF.

Two outs, runner still on first.

Dunn up.

Re: 6/10/09 - Reds vs. Nationals

Zimmerman robs Ramon H with a Brooks-esque dive, stab, and throw at 3b. Wow.

Runner on second, one out. Bruce up.
