Patton making triple-A debut, ranked as one of the Orioles' top-10 prospects. Too bad Norris Hopper isn't impressed, he got a leadoff walk.

Leake has worked out of two jams in the first two innings. He struck out the side in inning 2 after an error and a walk.

Tatum replaced Castillo behind the plate in the top of the third. No word on the reason.

Re: Tuesday June 16, 2009 Minor League Updates

Code:
Player IP	H	R	ER	BB	SO	HR	ERA
Ramirez 3.0	1	0	0	0	2	0	4.52
Pitches-strikes: Ramirez 42-25 - 60%

The reason Castillo was replaced, he got something in his eye.

Leake missing a lot of bats. Pretty good action on all his pitches.

And Mike Lincoln cleared waivers, which means he is eligible to be sent down. Walt is really trying hard to get that offense going.
