If its a big name pitcher just forget it.
With few exceptions that I can think of every time we have faced a big name pitcher this team scores 0 or 1 runs...Santana,Carpenter, Peavy, Oswalt...it just doesn't matter....Yes, these studs are great pitchers but they are human....Is it just mental with this team? Oh, we are facing ________ today. We just won't be able to score any runs. Somehow other teams do beat these guys.

If you haven't noticed it's not just studs shutting this team down. They just aren't very good offensively.
