I agree. I hope the Reds are very patient with Duran, Yorman, Valor, and even Billy Hamilton. Far too often you see other organizations rush their young talent and the kid stalls out. I hope the Reds don't that mistake. I'd like to see the Duran/Yorman/Hamilton trio start next season in Billings and then maybe make a late season cameo in Dayton if they hit well in Billings.

I hope it's the last game these two play in the Southern League.

No need to baby them, as long as they're ready. Yorman especially, since he's already showing solid baseball aptitude, and he's probably the most talented player in the system.

They are slow to update

Check Danny Vicious while you're there

.295/.368/.344 - .712 OPS.

Those numbers are impressive when you consider that he's only 16 years old and the GCL is a tough environment to hit in. I don't think anyone expects him (or Duran) to hit for much power yet. Both of them are as skinny as a rail and have plenty of filling out to do.

True. With a very raw product like Rodriguez, the ability to adjust is more important than the actual numbers. If he can continue to be one of the top 2 or 3 producers on the team, he may be able to start next year in Dayton.

19 years old. 5-foot-10, 150 pound switch-hitter. Hit .316/.388/.394 - .782 with two different DSL Reds teams last year. Other than that, I know nothing else about him.

His fielding stat summary

Sarasota trails 4-0 after two innings.

Mesoraco is 1-for-1 with a double.

Wood pitched a 1-2-3 1st in the Southern League All-Star game.

Todd Frazier was replaced after a K in his 1st AB

I got him as striking out, and then being replaced in the top of the 2nd.
