Whatever happened to this guy? All he ever did in the minors was get on base. He didn't have much pop but it seems like some club (like the Reds) could use a player that OBPs .400 every year.
For his minor league career he had a .398 OBP. In his worst year his OBP was .389. Seems like that would earn you a shot somewhere. |

I believe he's in the Pirates organization now. A first baseman with no power - if his OBP skills were at the middle infield, C or even in the OF I think he'd already have had a look. At first, though, its the kiss of death basically.
