I was at this game. It was "Turn Back The Clock Day" at PNC Park, and both clubs were wearing their 1979 uniforms. Of course, the Reds messed it up by wearing jerseys with the V-neck way too large, solid-colored socks instead of stirrups, and their black batting helmets and undersleeves. The Pirates wore their white jerseys with the gold and black pinstripes, along with black pants and their black stovepipe caps with gold piping. Jason Romano left the game in the bottom of the first inning with an injured leg after a two-out double by Jason Bay.
