I have to admit that I really admire his desire to play. His wife and kids seem supportive; I wonder if that's because they know how much he loves the game. But...
Brett, if you want to play, then, by all means, PLAY. Just cancel the annual "I'm Retiring" press conference thing. It's like when Elizabeth Taylor kept collecting wedding rings. After a half-dozen + times of pledging a life-long commitment to someone, people pretty much can see that the vow means crap. |
