Re: Thursday 8/13/09 Minor League Updates

Actually all four Billings runs came with two out. Could've been more but a play at the plate ended the inning.

* Efrain Contreras reaches on throwing error by pitcher Bryan Paukovits.
* Sean Conner strikes out swinging.
* With Frank Pfister batting, Efrain Contreras caught stealing 2nd base, catcher Salvador Perez to second baseman Deivy Batista.
* Frank Pfister walks.
* Mark Fleury triples (1) on a fly ball to left fielder Julio Aparicio. Frank Pfister scores.
* Christopher Richburg doubles (8) on a fly ball to center fielder Hilton Richardson. Mark Fleury scores.
* Cristobal Rodriguez singles on a fly ball to right fielder Alex Llanos. Christopher Richburg scores.
* Mariekson Gregorius doubles (6) on a fly ball to right fielder Alex Llanos. Cristobal Rodriguez scores.
* Pitcher Change: Pernell Halliman replaces Bryan Paukovits.
* Yorman Rodriguez singles on a fly ball to left fielder Julio Aparicio. Mariekson Gregorius out at home on the throw, left fielder Julio Aparicio to catcher Salvador Perez.

Idaho Falls has tied it again in the bottom of the 4th. Yorman Rodriguez just left after trying to run down a ball, no word yet on what exactly happened to him.

So much for the lead, Billings has given back all four runs they got in the top of the inning. The inning is still going, but the audio has disappeared unfortunately.

Does anyone know how the Bats game turned out? I lost the audio and the gameday seems to be stuck after the 8th inning.

Yorman Rodriguez left the game after running into the wall. The video feed sucks and was frozen when it happened so I couldn't see how bad it was. He was standing for a while, then sat down when the trainers were out there. Then got up and walked off the field under his own power.

OK, that sounds better. I had the Billings game in the background so missed the actual play, only heard him leave. Doesn't sound too serious.

Louisville 12-8 final. Former Red Jason Ellison made the last out. There's a guy who's easy to forget even played in Cincinnati.

Del Rosario may not have good K numbers, but his key to success is a tremendous GB/FB ratio. I think he could be a successful ML reliever

Re: Thursday 8/13/09 Minor League Updates

Billings lost 6-4.

My boy Tyler Stovall had another hit, but he is just having a much rougher time out in Billings this year than last. Looks like he came off the bench when Yorman went down. Yorman went 1-2 with a walk before running into the wall. Yorman is currently sporting a .286 BA in Billings.

Fleury went 2-4 with a triple.
