This guy's ability to hit the ball with authority and power is off the charts. He's not a polished all around player yet, but the Reds have to be thinking where he fits in.
If I recall, Dunn was terrorizing AA and AAA pitching in 2001 when he got called up.

Checked it out - he spent 2000 in Dayton and started 2001 in Chattanooga. He had 12 homers in 39 games before going to Louisville. He then had 20 homers in 55 games there, not including a homer in the Futures game. He made his debut with the Reds on July 20th and ended up hitting another 19 homers in 66 games.

That's 52 homers in 161 games over three levels at 21 years of age.

Those were the days when we thought that Griffey, Dunn & Kearns (who came up in 2002) would dominate the league.

Ward can't get anyone out anymore. I think this experiment is done. What did the Twins do to this guy?

Despite Francisco's immense potential, you can already sense that he is well-entrenched as a whipping boy already. Sad.

Plus plus power with a knack for putting the barrel on the ball. I'll take it.

Why do I think that if he was in the Cardinals organization, he'd be their closer within the next two years? Is there one decent pitching coach in the Reds entire organization?

Have to get those walks. Everybody's got to be the same kind of player. The stats say so.
