Kemp got a fluke base hit in no man's land between first base and right field.

Nice inning by Homer. I'd like his attitude to be "I've got good stuff, I'm going to pitch to contact, if the guy gets a hit, so what....I'll get the next guy". I hate seeing him run up his pitch count.

Thanks, Gameday said Kemp got a hit on a pop-up to Votto. I figured it had to be something like you described.

Agree. Maybe I'm just imagining things but I saw a little more of this attitude in his body language against Pittsburgh.

It landed maybe 3 feet out of the reach of Votto, probably 10-15 feet out of the infield directly on the line.

I have a very important question that I think only I can ask tonight....DID JOEY VOTTO SHAVE HIS HEAD??!? I can tell he got a haircut but I think it's all gone. Not that this is bad but I don't remember him ever doing that before and it caught me by surprise, LOL
