Sunday September 6th Minor League Game Updates

Dayton is underway and tied at 1. If they lose, they will be eliminated from the playoffs. It may not matter though, as South Bend is currently winning their game in the 4th inning and if they win, its over.

Josh Fellhauer is 1-1 with a run and Carlos Mendez is 1-1 with an RBI.

Good news for Dayton.... Lansing just dropped a 9 spot on South Bend and is now leading 10-6.

Yeah, not looking good for their playoff chance. At least we have the Bats.

Manager read the lineup card upside down?

Bats tied up with Indianapolis 0-0 after 3. Valaika's single is the only hit so far for Louisville.

Bankston tripled, but was thrown out at home on a grounder by Frazier.

Bats game still tied up at 0. LeCure pitcing a 1-hitter through 5. The Bats' offense is loaded (even without Francisco in there), but still just the 2 hits so far.

Re: Sunday September 6th Minor League Game Updates

Yonder Alonso is 2-for-2 with a double. He entered tonight with a line of .297/.400/.459 - .859 OPS in 37 atbats since returning from the DL. I really hope the Reds follow through with their plan of promoting Alonso to Louisville for the playoffs.
