Matt Maloney recently picked up a cutter, which should help keep the ball in the ballpark. I think he's still getting familiar with it, but you can't deny that his homeruns allowed went down this year (while improving on his K/BB ratio). Maloney probably won't win you any Cy Youngs, but it's not unrealistic that he become an effective middle-of-the-rotation starter down the line.

1. Either Harang or Arroyo -- I think they'll keep 1 and let the other one walk (or trade him)
2. Cueto 3. Bailey 4. Volquez, if the elbow comes back healthy enough to allow him to be a starter 5. ??? but my guess is they find it from within -- Wood/Maloney/Leake being the top 3 candidates at this point
