What are the odds...
Not trying to jinx the great play of our beloved Reds right now, but is it too far fetched to imagine Cincy winning their next upcoming 9 games and finish the season 81-81?
Realistically I can see them winning 2 of 3 from the Stros, 1 of 3 from the Cards, and a 3 game sweep of the Bucos. This would make their final record 78-84, uh, horrible record. I like the sound of 81-81, if I can't have that at least win 8 of 9 and make the final record 80-82. |

Astros are down for the count so maybe a sweep.
Cardinals should be resting guys, but they could be playing for HFA. Pirates are pathetic. So there's a small glimmer of hope. I think 77 wins would be great. |

Considering we were fighting for last place with the Pirates not that many weeks ago, 76-78 wins would actually be kind of impressive.
But this team has a tendency to play pretty well with the pressure off, so that really doesn't mean anything at all for next season. It just takes us out of the conversation for worst teams in baseball. |
