Unfortunately, I have a strong feeling Webb won't be a Cincinnati Red. But I would be glad to be proved wrong.

I really like the Price signing. Honestly had not remembered ever hearing of the guy. A good sign is, he wasn't fired from AZ, he resigned. The Reds-signing press release from AZ Central News was flooded with positive comments about him.

"It's always nice to see kids come in the system. It says a lot about the organization. I think I came into a great situation, not waiting two or three years until the primary prospects. There are guys who are ready to become big league pitches." The quote from the cnati.com article says a lot to me. Finally a fresh, excited pitching coach. I just hope Dusty lets him do his thing.

And quite frankly, I'm just happy Dick Pole isn't waddling his way around the clubhouse anymore.
