Re: Bengals vs Raiders

This was the definition of a trap game... We had this division in our back pocket, if we would of won today, now the Steelers have a 2nd life...

Re: Bengals vs Raiders

What a letdown. This reverses all the good will they had built up this year, as far as I'm concerned.

Wow. It's called getting too big for your britches. The team has now learned how to win, but the next thing it needs to do is learn how to handle success. Today was a clear lesson in that.

I think they scored twice early, were up 14 points on a bad team and put it on cruise control. I've seen this happen time and time again in all sports over the years (see OSU 1998 loss to MSU). Once intensity is turned off, it's very difficult to turn it back on. This might be good for them in the long run.

Re: Bengals vs Raiders

7-3 and in first place I will take it. Not happy about the outcome but I think it will be a good wake up call for this team. Let's not forget we played without Benson today who will be back next week.

I told my wife last Sunday, that the win against the Steelers would mean nothing if we don't take care of business against the Raiders. They assumed all they had to do was show up and win... a sure sign of immaturity.

We lost 2 games we should of won...Denver and now Oakland.
