am i'm being paranoid or....
has anyone else noticed during baseball highlights that if a pitcher is being spotlighted he always seems to be striking out a Cincy hitter or a spotlighted hitter is always taking (insert your fav reds pitcher here)deep?
earlier tonight I saw some footage of Billy Wagner striking out Larkin!?! damn he's had a few K's since that hasn't he? |

I've noticed this too. And in NFL highlights, it always seems like the highlights are of players beating the Bengals. Maybe we are just conditioned as Cincinnati sports fans to expect failure.

Bad teams are more often on the wrong end of highlights. I think you're seeing a symptom...

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance. |
