Re: Outfield Options
I'll go first:
1. Bruce .840 2. Balentien .795 3. Gomes .770 4. Stubbs .740 5. Dickerson .730 I think Heisey will get about 150 ABs and post an OPS of .710. Frazier and Francisco will both get <100 ABs at the major league level.

Re: Outfield Options
OPS probably isn't the right way to do it since OBP is worth significantly more than SLG.
In terms of OPS: Jay Bruce Jonny Gomes Wladimir Balentien Chris Dickerson Drew Stubbs In terms of something broader such as wOBA: Jay Bruce Chris Dickerson Jonny Gomes Wladimir Balentien Drew Stubbs In terms of WAR (factoring in defense): Jay Bruce Chris Dickerson Drew Stubbs Wladimir Balentien Jonny Gomes

Quote:
Gomes .850 to .900 Dickerson .750 to .775 Balentien .725 to .750 Stubbs .675 to .700 I'd say Francisco gets the most major league ABs of the guys mentioned. The Reds need some one who can hit RH Pitching and Heisey has some splits and Frazier isn't on the 40 man yet.

Re: Outfield Options
Bruce
Gomes Dickerson Stubbs Balentiein Just a WAG but I think Stubbs and Dickerson are splitting time in CF by the second half of the season. I also think they'll have Francisco in LF with Frazier getting some ABs there against lefties. Heisey and Dorn get some ABs in case of injury. I have a feeling that Balentein will be dealt before camp breaks and the find a taker for Gomes by the trade dealine. |

Re: Outfield Options
Oh, and I think Frazier gets the most AB of that group -- but he gets them at 3B.
