Such as Nick Johnson- DH, or Chone Figgins- 2B. They didn't play these positions enough last year to be eligible, but their new clubs have said that these positions are where they'll play at this year.

Usually there are gain eligibility at their new positions once they have played 'X' number of games there. Most leagues use 5 games, but some use 10. (Some use 1.)

Yahoo requires either 10 games played or 5 games started at a position before the player gains eligibility at the new position. So, you should be able to start using Figgins at 2nd midway through the 2nd week. You should be able to use Johnson right away at dh since any player can be used there.
