Who would guard Rik in a rec league?

You've obviously never seen Razor before.

He did, of course.

I always assumed Rik went back to Holland. But I've never heard anybody around Indy say anythiing bad about Rik Smits. Class guy all around. Now, I have heard things about Reg...but that's another story, and I don't like to spread rumors.

Yea Rik is a great guy and I am pretty sure he still lives in Indy.

Smits really had a pretty nice career. He wasn't a HOF type player but certainly a player that helped make the Pacers an upper echelon team.

I remember sitting at a Village Pantry years ago and seeing this humongous freak of a man walk inside. It was Rik and trust me 7'-4" is is pretty damn tall.

I'm not a fan of either team but I was interested in this story.

Re: Reggie Miller VS The Knicks

I did watch some of the show last night but when it got to Game 3 of the 99' Playoffs I simply couldn't watch it. The call the Ref made on Larry Johnson's 4 point play was hands down one of the worst calls I have ever seem in pro sports. I recall reading an article years ago where the official who made the call knew he blew the call the minute he did it and has deeply regretted it since.

The quote omitted from the article:

"But at the same time, I didn't have a choice, I had a ton of money on the Knicks."

Razor dominates youth leagues. Not sure he could hang in an adult rec league though.

He's got a place in Southern Indiana with a TON of land. Believe it or not he has a fleet of ATVs and dirt bikes. Odd hobby for a dude that 7'4".

In 10 and under leagues I average 15+ points a game. I'm pretty sweet. That's an 8 foot goal, I can slap boards.
