Re: 4/23/10 Reds vs Padres

After the first inning, Bronson Arroyo has pitched 21 innings. He has given up runs in just four of those 21. Unfortunately, there has been a 4-spot and a 5-spot mixed in there.
I feel a win coming on.

Re: 4/23/10 Reds vs Padres

I wonder if I should start my Swing-and-a-Miss-ometer? 1 batter so far for the Reds, one swing-and-a-miss. Joey Votto comes up with two outs and the bases empty.....AGAIN!!

Re: 4/23/10 Reds vs Padres

Why would Votto ever get a pitch to hit with Phillips up behind him? Votto walks.

That Padre starter seems to be channeling Reds' starters at this point.

Re: 4/23/10 Reds vs Padres

Phillips moves the SAAM-ometer another notch and it now stands at 2.

I am placing the SAAM over/under at 7 1/2 (called third strikes do not move the meter).
