Owings has really shown me nothing since we got him for Dunn. He's very hittable and makes a lot of mistakes. I think we've placed too much confidence on marginal pitchers and players this year.

I just came in. I know the Padres have won 6 straight but I think that ends tonight. How's the game going? Is Cueto looking good?

he has power ... as a hitter. He's a dime a dozen long reliever at best as a pitcher
