4-30-10 Reds at Cards
Reds Lineup...courtesy of Fay
No rain here yet. It’s cloudy and windy. Drew Stubbs 8 Brandon Phillips 4 Joey Votto 3 Scott Rolen 5 Jay Bruce 9 Orlando Cabrera 6 Jonny Gomes 7 Ramon Hernandez 2 Johnny Cueto RHP No move has been announced. If Stubbs hadn’t had his big night last night, I was expecting to see Chris Heisey in the lineup.

I have a hard time believing this game is going to get played. St. Louis is about to get murdered by storms.

Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for the bullpen if this game is washed out.

Re: 4-30-10 Reds at Cards
There was a story the other day ( in which there was about how there had not been a rainout in mlb yet this year. Latest since 1985.
Here we go http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100422&content_id=9494040&vkey=n ews_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb&from=search_webresults< 1> Last edited by klw; 04-30-2010 at 07:57 PM. |

At this point, it is NOT raining and the tarp is NOT on. It's looking like the game will start on time...finishing is another story.

Re: 4-30-10 Reds at Cards
If it looks like there will be a delay after the game starts, I would start Owings or Fisher and then bring Cueto in after the rain is past.
It looks like the rain will move in within half an hour and stick around 1 to 2 hours. http://www.intellicast.com/National/...3&animate=true Last edited by klw; 04-30-2010 at 08:02 PM. |

The worst thing that can happen for us is an early delay.

Re: 4-30-10 Reds at Cards
That's actually an interesting idea. I doubt Dusty will think of it, but that would be a good idea if it's an early delay.

And this game is underway!
Drew almost makes it 1-0 quickly. Right to the wall.

Stubbs crushed that to center, too bad Busch is one of the hardest parks to to hit a homer to center. To the wall.
