Re: 5-10-10 Cincy at the Pirates

Pirates 8th:

Cedeno catches ahold of a hanging 69 mph curve and hammers a HR to left.
Delwyn Young, pinch hitting for Meek, slaps a single the other way through the hole. Arroyo at 103 pitches now, and Bryan Price (?) pulls him.

Rhodes in to pitch.
Iwamura bunts Young over to 2nd.
LaRoche lines out to Stubbs.
McCutchen Ks swinging on a 91 mph fastball.

Rhodes threw 12 pitches this inning.

Reds 2, Pirates 1.

Hanrahan pitching. Stubbs, Hanigan & a ph'er. Any guesses who? I'd vote Gomes.

Votto grounder to the 3rd Baseman was an Error......he hit it hard...but it was right at his glove on one bounce. I think Rolen just got caught in no man's land.

Was hoping for the Arroyo CG SHO...that would be around his 6th? for this Reds career.

Stubbs grounds to third

Hanigan grounded out on the first pitch.

Righty or lefty...he's swinging a GREAT bat right now. Heisey still hasn't gotten a hit...against a righty or lefty. I'll take the hot bat.

Third time is NOT the charm for LaRoche at third, LOL

Gomes was safe.

Huge hit by OC to get another run, though.

Re: 5-10-10 Cincy at the Pirates

Dang! Gomes out at the plate. I like the risk....close call...I'm not so sure. He might've beat that. I need to see it again.

Double by Cabrera btw

He was out??? Wow. He sure looked safe on that replay to me. His foot got in there before the tag.
