This Date In Reds History (5/8/10): Past Lineups

55 years ago (1955), the Reds split a doubleheader at Crosley Field vs. the Cubs--losing the opener 5-3, and winning the nightcap 4-3.

Randy Jones was a BRM killer. He threw slow,slower and slowest and always kept the Reds hitters off balance. I don't what Jones's career record against the Reds came to be but it had to be pretty good.
