I like Hernandez. I really do. I am fine with him getting some starts and trust him completely when he's in there.

But this is why I really would like to see Hanigan as the primary catcher (nearing 60 plate appearances now)...

2 HR & 16 RBI
.508 OBP
.625 SLG (.229 ISO)
10 BB & 5 K

Oh, and he's thrown out 46% of the baserunners that have attempted to steal on him.

I don't think I'm being irrational hoping he becomes the starter - even if he gives up some starts once or twice a week to Ramon.

Last inning I was about to ask what has gotten into our pitching. But seriously, what has gotten into our hitting?

Reds still not very good on the base paths. At least in regards to pick offs and failed steal attempts.
