It's so cool to have 5 quality Starting Pitchers. Every night we're in the game.
I was disappointed in Phillips's at bat there.: Swung at a pitcher about shoulder high with a 2-0 count and did the predictable thing, popping it up.

But yeah, 0-0 game. Like to have a run or more by now, especially with the opportunity in the first inning. But it's better than being down 4-0, as has been the case a few times in years past.

Cueto would probably have a few Cy Youngs already if he pitched out west.

Yes.

He's pitching really well, actually. He hasn't walked a batter and hasn't given up a run. Every other game tonight has their starting pitcher's giving up a run before the 2nd inning is over (except for Gallardo) (those games that have gone at least 2 innings so far.

The only team that's been hitting better than the REDS over the last 10 games has been the Brewers.

Well I like that. Bad defense replace once again by great defense on the next play. Maybe eventually other teams will be afraid to run home unless they have to. Probably not, but how cool would that be?

Stubbs picks up Phillips. Defense is a wonderful thing. Of course, it was Gregg Zaun motoring down the line. That always helps.
