On WLW, during the game, they guessed that it would be Travis Wood because he pitched the same day of Bailey's last start and his turn would be this Friday.

such a thin line from AAA to the majors isnt it? leake/wood were the final 2 for the 5th spot in the rotation. now when they need to call up someone, wood is stuck competing with 2 other guys for that callup, rather than being the guy.

yep it is going to be great, I would like to see Wood have a go, but when guys are this close when you compare them...it only means good things.

If I had to guess id say Maloney just because they know what they are getting with him more than the other 2. Although I could see them going to someone like Lecure knowing that it wont be more than a 1 or 2 start gig.
