That's what the radar suggests.

if any pitcher is ON they are good. the problem with harang he is just stuck in the off position.

Well the team we are fighting with has Suppan as it's #4 starter, #5 unknown.

There it is! I knew somebody was going to do it eventually. Nevermind the fact his ERA for the year is well over 5 and his record the last two years was 12-31, lets pick out nine starts.

It's very hard to watch Harang pitch right now. Not only does he have nothing stuff, but his pace on the mound puts me to sleep. I can imagine what it does to his fielders.

No, this is where we disagree. He wasn't "on" his last 9 starts. He was in between. I think we've all seen Aaron when he's ON his game. Just like we're seeing him off it tonight.

This isn't saying that I don't think he'll be the first guy we trade once Edinson becomes ready (or someone else).

Yeah he was on his game 3-4 years ago.

That Harang is long gone.

His era is over 5. Which is why I'm saying he's like a #4 starter or so. As for his record the last 2 years...let's not get into win loss record. I think everybody here knows how useless the "W" stat is.

He doesn't have a pitch he can consistently throw for strikes other than his fastball.

12-31 can't be ignored.

Is the score 3-0? Have the Reds come up to bat yet?

Yes. Phillips is up with 1 out.

Agreed. THAT Harang ain't coming back. But he's still a decent pitcher and a useful pitcher. He's HIGHLY overpaid for the production he's putting out the past 3 years, that's for certain. But his stats are still decent for a #4 or so.

The last 9 starts, after a poor start, indicates he was trending in the right direction.

His ERA last year was 4.21.

You are looking at his first 4 starts this year, otherwise his ERA is around 4 for about 40 starts.

You are more guilty of doing what you claim I have done.
