How great would it be for him to go nuts over the next week.

I wonder how many balls get hit on to the apple.

By Votto's reaction, I thought he just missed it at first.

Re: 7/5/10 Reds at Mets
Looks like Dusty told the guys to come out swinging early in the count tonight. Each guy saw just 2 pitches. Of course, I'll take 8 pitches and a run every inning.

Re: 7/5/10 Reds at Mets
Maybe he didn't. Maybe that's how far he hits 'em when he just misses them

Re: 7/5/10 Reds at Mets
I'll take a few more things like what Joey just did in the game tonight when we get to Philly. Charlie Manuel should probably have looked more at the schedule before he made his All Star picks, LOL
Those Philly fans should be VERY worried about Joey coming to town this week with a chip on his shoulder! More funkblasts are coming for sure, LOL

Re: 7/5/10 Reds at Mets
Oh, he was saying all day that people are making too big of a deal about Votto getting snubbed. It turned out to be great free pub for Votto though. Cowherd was saying Votto is fourth-best out of Pujols, Howard and Gonzalez. (Not necessarily just this year, but overall.)

Re: 7/5/10 Reds at Mets
That was an absurdly good at bat by David Wright. Fouled off numerous tough 2-strike pitches, and got a clean single on a pretty tough 3-2 changeup.
