Mark Serrano sent to AAA.

Mark Serrano is now showing up as tonight's starter for the Louisville Bats, taking the place of Matt Maloney, who is with the team in New York. I'd imagine that this is a one game spot start promotion, due to the bats having no spot starters left, and a depleted bullpen after last nights doubleheader. It will be interesting to see how he performs against AAA hitters.

This is quite the leap, Lynchburg to Louisville.

Lecure, Wood, and Maloney are all not in AAA right now. Its a jump but I bet having 3/5th of your rotation out doesnt happen a ton.

Re: Mark Serrano sent to AAA.

It is a shame Tommy Cochran pitched last night. He would be the man otherwise. I hate it for him.

5/5th

LeCure, Maloney, Wood, Chapman and Lehr were the original starting rotation for Louisville.

The rotation, starting today will be:

Serrano, Klinker, Delgado, Volquez, Jukich and Reineke.
