Reds draft pick bitten by shark (Chad Rogers)

From John Fay's blog:

Quote:
Chad Rogers, a 5-11 RHP drafted by the Reds in the 28th round of this year’s MLB draft, was bitten by a shark while surfing two weeks ago.

WMTW TV has the story and video.

Rogers was surfing just off the coast of Galveston, Texas when the incident happened.

“Next thing you know, I feel something which feels like just a mouthful of needles grabbing my foot,” he told WMTW.

I was just reading that on Fayls blog.

I wonder what type of damage was done?

He's got 60 stitches in his foot, but no serious damage.

Nature's way of telling you that you should be far away from the ocean in Arizona

Eddie Fingers asked Tracy Jones if he had Hunter stashed away in bubble wrap after hearing this. The thought of Hunter Jones actually wrapped up in bubble wrap made me cackle for some reason.
